An Intimate Home Celebration - Berkshire Wedding Photographer
“We are so incredibly happy with the photographs that you took for us. They are exactly what we wanted – informal, relaxed, candid-style images that perfectly captured our day! Thank you for being so easy going and laid back, and for providing a huge selection of creative, original and high-quality photographs that will last us forever” Katie & Ben
No one can deny that this has been a strange year all round for couples planning on marrying and also for the wedding industry. Weddings have been postponed and then postponed again with everyone just hoping that best made plans will eventually be realised.
For Katie and Ben however, rescheduling their celebration originally planned for 150 guests just wasn’t an option. This tenacious couple were going ahead with their wedding and marrying each other in 2020.
Taking advantage of the 30 guest rule, plans were quickly changed to hold the ceremony in the local church in Pangbourne with an intimate home celebration in a garden marquee at Katie’s parents house afterwards.
Guests enjoyed a post ceremony outdoor gathering in the local park next to the river with champagne and a few more friends joining (at a distance) to wish them well and raise a glass.
In a year that has seen the wedding industry slow down to a snails pace it was a joy to be a part of Katie and Bens Wedding Day and to see Love prevail against the odds.
